One of the largest investments in the irrigated infrastructure of agricultural lands has started in the south of the country through a 10 million euro loan taken by the World Bank, with which the Albanian government will rehabilitate Janjar’s system in Konispol, the Minister of Agriculture, Bledi Çuçi said.

The notice states that the works are expected to be completed after 8 months and that this project envisages the realization of a combination of two types of irrigation: 1) pressure irrigation (with metal pipes); 2) gravity irrigation (open canals) using the natural level of the Janjar canal with the fields of Shales, Mursia, Vrina and Buf.
