15 Italian-owned businesses closed down in 2017
Consulting companies, business firms, forward processing companies, gambling companies, or call centers are among at least 15 Italian companies that have closed down their business during 2017.
Scan has seen requests by these companies for liquidation or closing down, which simultaneously invite potential creditors to file claims.
The largest number of Italian companies that have closed down the activity operate in the field of consultancy and trade.
Some of the companies operate in the field of medical technology and fire protection.
Some others operate in the real estate market and forward processing industry.
Meanwhile, among them there is one gambling company.
There are also call center companies, which, since the end of last year, are in a difficult position due to the tightening of Italian legislation for this sector.
Each of the companies has been assigned an administrator to supervise the liquidation procedures, in order to review any possible claim by the creditors.
Meanwhile, the owners or partners of some of them have chosen to apply closing down procedures for their activity.
Italy is the country with the largest number of companies operating in Albania.
According to INSTAT, in Albania currently there are over 2,660 Italian-owned businesses, most of which operate in the field of services.
