150 million ALL are allocated for the Llogara Tunnel! The project has been under discussion since the 1989 tragic accident

The Council of Ministers has approved the decision to add 150 million ALL to the Ministry of Infrastructure. This fund will be used for the project “Review of feasibility study and design of the detailed engineering project, Construction of the Llogara tunnel “. The total value of the project is estimated at 750 million ALL.

Discussions on the construction of a new road connecting Orikum with Llogara and the construction of a tunnel in Llogara began three decades ago, after the tragic accident of 1989 where a student bus slipped and caused 20 casualties.
