70 companies file lawsuits against Tax Authority over unreasonably high turnovers

Banks, insurance companies, construction companies and gambling companies are among companies that have filed lawsuits against the tax authority in January.

There are about 70 companies that have addressed the courts to challenge the overestimated turnovers along with the respective penalties and fines.

TV SCAN has seen the official data of court proceedings against tax authorities for January, which result very high, seeing that in total, as of December 31, the number of subjects in court cases with the tax authority was 349.

The number of large businesses that have filed a lawsuit against the VIP Taxpayers Directory is very high.

The figure is about 60 and some of the companies that have a large weight in the economic life of the country are to be found in the list.

They ask the Court to abolish the fines amounting to millions of Albanian Lek, or the abolition of certain unjustly imposed turnovers.
