Agreement with Italy – The obligation to certify the certificates at Albanian Embassy is removed

Albanian citizens will no longer need to certify the certificates they need in the neighboring country by the Italian Embassy. In a joint press release, Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati and Italian Ambassador Alberto Cutillo said it was possible thanks to an agreement between the two countries.

Bushati said this will save many Albanians from long journeys to the translator, notary, certification at the Italian Embassy and in our Ministry. According to the estimates of the Ministry, the total cost to be avoided for Albanians from the removal of this obligation amounts to 2.6 million euros.
