Albania, attractive market – Polish companies interested in investing and partnership
Polish businesses are interested in establishing partnerships with Albanian businesses and investing in our country in several areas. In an interview for SCAN TV, the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce states that the highest interest is in sectors such as infrastructure, tourism and agriculture.
Asked about the business climate in Albania, he points out that Albania as a candidate country for the European Union offers security for foreign investments. The Union Chambers of Commerce has organized the Poland-Albania economic forum where businesses from both have held meetings between them in order to find the points of cooperation.
Trade exchanges between the two countries resulted in growth for the first six months of 2018, where exports increased by 47 percent compared to the same period of 2017 and imports by 7 percent. Currently, only 32 Polish companies are registered in Albania.
