Albania in 2020 bought more electric vehicles. DPSHTRR: 757% increase compared to 2019

Albania is experiencing a growing trend of using electric cars. Referring to the data published by the General Directorate of Road Transport, during 2020 317 electric vehicles were registered; 280 vehicles more than in 2019.

“Fantastic increase by + 757% of electric vehicles in 2020, compared to 2019!” writes DPSHTRR in a post on social networks. According to DPSHTRR, there are 2 million and 360 ALL that have been saved to the citizens thanks to the increase of the initial and annual tariffs for electric vehicles & plug-in! Albania has undertaken legal and fiscal policies to promote the use of ecological machines.

In addition to fiscal and procedural facilities, in the capital is being prepared the installation of new charging points for electric vehicles in various places, in order to further stimulate them.
