Albania takes action against coronavirus: flights, lessons, hospital visits, drug exports, and holidays at nightclubs are banned.
Following the identification of two cases of coronavirus, the level of preventive measures has increased in Albania. One of the announced decisions is the temporary suspension of direct flights to the north of Italy, with the aeuroports: Aeroporti Milano Malpensa (MXP), Aeroporti Milano Bergamo (BGY), Aeroporti Bologna (BLQ), Aeroporti Firenze (FLR), Aeroporti Genoa (GOA), Aeroporti Perugia (PEG), Aeroporti Pisa (PSA), Aeroporti Rimini (RMI), Aeroporti Venezia (VCE), Aeroporti Verona (VRN).
Also, another measure announced by the prime minister is to suspend teaching activities and mass gatherings until April 3. In the list of prohibited activities are public activities such as conferences, sports activities etc. The prime minister advised young people to avoid partying at nightclubs.
Another announced measure is to ban the export of medicines and medical equipment. This will be done only by special order of the Minister of Health.
Also, another decision is to ban hospital visits. The decision stipulates that family members and companions of patients who are hospitalized will not be allowed to visit unless there is a request from physicians or the hospital directorate.
