Albanian exports to Italy miss ALL 20 billion, although November was positive
The export of Albanian goods to the main trade partner, Italy, in November of this year have managed to overcome the problems created by the pandemic, being equal to November of last year. However, in the 11-month range, there is a big ‘hole’ in exports, compared to the 11-month period of 2019.
Referring to the foreign trade figures published by INSTAT, Albania has exported to Italy goods worth 113 billion 659 million ALL in the period January-November 2020. Meanwhile, in January-November 2019 exports were 133 billion 709 million ALL.
So, this year about 20 billion less were exported to Italy than last year imports.
Meanwhile, in November of this year it turns out that Albania has imported more goods from Italy than in November 2019. This November, imports reached the value of ALL 15.2 billion; ALL 1.3 billion more in November last year. But in the 11-month range, imports have also fallen sharply.
In January-November 2020, Albania imported from Italy ALL 136 billion of goods, recognizing a decrease of ALL 15 billion compared to the same period last year.
