Albanian Lek has strengthened due to external factors: Expert Civici

The decline of the euro in international markets over the past few days has affected the strengthening of domestic currency.

According to expert Adrian Civici, a contributing factor is the inflow of the European currency in our country, something that has had a direct effect on the exchange rate.

According to Civici, the Bank of Albania’s monetary policy has not been influenced by this strengthening of the Albanian Lek since it is still too early to assess a possible effect.

In the Albanian foreign exchange market, the domestic currency is growing, strengthening in comparison to the euro and the dollar.

This could have an impact on both the domestic market and exports.
