Another 8 tons of personal protection materials arrive for the medical staff in Albania
The Minister of Health announced today that 8 tons of personal protective equipment for medical staff, funded by the Albanian government, have arrived in Albania as part of the measures to cope with the situation caused by COVID-19.
“There are 8 tons of personal protection materials, starting from clothing, glasses, masks and protective helmets, which will continue to supply our hospitals, the national emergency center, the Institute of Public Health, and all local health care units. and those structures where the personnel face off in the battle and on the first front of the fight against COVID-19 ”, said Manastirliu present at the customs during the arrival of the materials.
This new amount of personal protective equipment for medical staff comes after the first two supplies, of 15 tons, which have arrived earlier in our country. Regarding the new measures, Manastirliu said that the vigilance of the citizens should not be reduced as the war is not over and should continue with the observance of the measures imposed by the government.
