Banks are unclear about the fiscal amnesty – Suggestions for implementing voluntary declaration of assets

The banking sector is unclear on how the law on fiscal amnesty will be implemented, while giving suggestions on what should be added in order not to bring obstacles for citizens and businesses that will make a voluntary declaration.

In response to these comments made at the hearing in the Committee on Economy, Deputy Minister of Finance, Vasilika Vjero gave explanations on how the declaration will be made and how the obligation will be paid to the tax administration, while emphasizing that the law will be accompanied by an explanatory instruction.

Meanwhile, the Chambers of Commerce in the country have shown a series of reservations about the draft law in question, describing it as inclusive and not explanatory of how it will proceed.
