Break from work for one of the parents with small children until March 23, government measures: “The ones that can do their work online, must stay at home.”

The Albanian government has presented today, at an urgent meeting, a set of measures expected to help fight the latest CO-VID19 virus.

The head of the Albanian government has called on the public to restrict the movement and not to spread panic in such a situation.

The suspension of the education system until March 23 and the suspension of activities until April 3 also brought up some other problems, where children will already be forced to self-isolate at home and need parental care.

The government has paid particular attention to this category by introducing a new measure.

One of the parents employed in the private and public sector who have a child in a kindergarten, or school will take a break.

This break is foreseen from March 10 to March 23, when the teaching process is expected to resume unless the situation with the coronavirus escalates in Albania.

Meanwhile, Rama said that any employee who can work from home with a computer is not required to be in the office.

The prime minister also said that from tomorrow the administration will carry out all the commitments from home while the service halls will be closed, and all requests will be made online.
