Business should had been facilitated earlier! – Experts: Positive and negative effects of VAT abolition and Profit Tax

The government’s initiatives for the abolition of profit tax and the increase of VAT for small businesses, should have entered into force within this year in order to help this category as soon as possible, in the difficult conditions of coping. Of this opinion is the economics expert Adrian Civici, according to whom as long as there was no third economic package for entrepreneurship, the intended facilities should not had been postponed.

Regarding the effects that these two decisions will have, which enter into force on January 1, 2021, economics experts are divided. For Selami Xhepa, the exclusions create discrimination and damage the economy, while for the expert Civici, businesses will be facilitated and will be able to have more opportunities to expand and create employment.
