Construction work for Arber Road to start within 30-45 days: PM Rama

Construction work for the Arber Road is expected to begin within the timeframe of 30-45 days.

The news has been announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the SP parliamentary group meeting held this morning.

PM Rama said that at the government meeting expected to be held next week in Pogradec, one of the issues to be discussed with the government of the neighboring Macedonia is to link the two countries through this road.

“The process of finalizing Arber Road is at its ending pointThe ministry has started negotiating the terms with the company that was the winner in the bid, and within 30-45 days the contract will be finalized and the work on Arber road will begin until this important axis is finished, for which together with the Foreign Minister we have opened a discussion with the Macedonian government.”

“In our upcoming meeting in Pogradec one of the issues to be discussed is the need for the Macedonian side to make possible the necessary link for this road to have a regional impact,” stated PM Rama.
