Coronavirus in Albania / Ministry of Health: In 50 tested cases there are no signs of COVID-19

In a press release today, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection confirmed that all 50 tested cases, suspected of the new COVID-19 virus, have proved negative.

In the last 24 hours, about 18,030 passengers have entered the territory of the Republic of Albania and meanwhile the temperature control surveillance continues to be strengthened, the Ministry said. Also according to today’s update of the Ministry, in the last 24 hours, at the number 127 there were 1472 calls, 32 of which related to respiratory viral infections and travel history with Italy.

The ministry recommends that travelers be self-quarantined at home if they have symptoms of the virus or have been in contact with people infected with the new virus. Also for any case of suspected Coronavirus or respiratory problems all citizens should contact the available number 127.
