Corruption within justice system has hampered investments in Albania: Deputy Minister Gogu
According to the Justice Deputy Minister Toni Gogu, corruption within the ranks of the justice system has had a negative impact in the country’s economy, curbing foreign and domestic investments for years.
In an exclusive interview for SCAN, Gogu analyzes the effect that corruption within the justice system has had in the economy.
He claims that bitter experiences and lack of confidence in the courts have had a direct impact on the investment of businesses and citizens.
Gogu says that the Vetting process has already delivered the first results not only with the resignation of several judges and prosecutors, but also in a self-correction of the system.
