Covid- 19 ruins the state budget / January-April, 132 million euros less collected

The measures taken against Covid-19, closing the activity of a significant part of the businesses, have severely damaged the state coffers. According to fiscal indicators published by the Ministry of Finance, for the 4 months, about 16.3 billion ALL or 132 million Euros were collected less than the same period a year ago, and the total revenue reaches 133 billion ALL. Revenues from taxes and customs have suffered the biggest impact with 12.2 billion ALL minus compared to April 2019.
