Customs informs the citizens wishing to travel to Greece – Kapshtica Border Crossing will be closed until April 19
Through an announcement on the official website, the Albanian Customs has indicated that the situation aggravated by the high number of cases with Covid-19, in the neighboring country Greece, has led to the postponement of the closure by the Greek side of Kristalopigi Customs.
Based on the official notification of the Greek Police Authorities at BCP Kristalopigi, it has been announced the extension of the blocking deadline of the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point, until 19.4.2021.
Until this date, the exit from Albania and the entrance to Greece through this crossing point, continues to be closed. While leaving Greece and entering our country, will be allowed from 06:00 to 22:00, only for pedestrians and heavy tonnage vehicles (freight trucks). Vehicles such as buses, taxis, or any other means of passenger transport will not be allowed to pass.
For all citizens and businesses we announce that Kakavija Customs continues to operate normally. Kapshtica Customs has remained closed since November 20.
