Decision of the Council of Ministers / Albania abolishes visas with the South American state
Albania has officially lifted visas with the State of Guyana.
The decision adopted by the Council of Ministers on March 4 clearly explains that all citizens of our country can fly without the need for a visa to the South American state. Guyana borders Brazil, Venezuela, Suriname and has access to the Atlantic Ocean.
The Co-operative Republic of Guyana has been a colony of states like the Netherlands, France and England for centuries. Guyana became independent from the UK on May 26, 1966 and on February 26, 1970 President Forbes Burnham of the People’s National Congress (PNC) declared Guyana to be a cooperative republic.
The country has a population of 750,000, largely Catholic and the official language is English, with the national currency being the Guyanese dollar.
