EC “reveals” how Albanians feel – According to the Eurobarometer, we are the most affected by the crisis, but also the most optimistic in Europe
The vast majority of Albanians think of the situation in which the country’s economy or the family economy is quite bad. The European Commission has published the latest Eurobarometer, which has collected data until August this year. According to a survey conducted in the form of a survey, 71% of Albanians think that the situation of the Albanian economy is quite bad, while 66% of them think that the situation of their personal finances is quite bad. Both of these rates are over 10 percentage points higher than in the last Eurobarometer, that of last autumn. These rates are also significantly higher than the European Union average, even higher than in any other country on the old continent.
But, what stands out from the survey data, is the fact that Albanians have the highest rate of optimization in Europe, in terms of expectations for the next 12 months. 48% of respondents state that they expect the situation to be better in the next 12 months.
Even in terms of expectations for the next 12 months for the situation of personal finances, Albanians have the highest rate of positive expectations in Europe, at 44%. Regarding the main problems that Albanians face today, health ranks first, with 33%, followed by rising prices by 28% and living conditions by 24%. In the European Union, meanwhile, the three main challenges in terms of importance are: inflation, health and the economic situation.
