Economy will recover after 2020 – Denaj: Public works will compensate for the contraction of private investment

The Albanian economy in the second half of the year will continue to be in difficulty, due to the budget deficit of 8.4 percent and overcoming public debt to 80 percent, a trend that is expected to change in the next three years. The Minister of Finance, Anila Denaj, presented in the rostrum of the Parliament, the recent changes made in the budget, where according to her they amortize the shocks that the economy received from COVID-19 and the earthquake of November 26, and create opportunities for additional investments.

Denaj informed the specific items where the funds will be reallocated, referring to the changes made in the budget through the normative act.
