Entrepreneurship urges broad development pact for Albania after EC recommendation

The Albanian Government needs to mobilize and take seriously the European Commission’s recommendations regarding the economy.

Entrepreneurship in the country suggests that now it is time to have a broad national pact for sustainable development of the Albanian economy and to define priority sectors.

High informality, the changing fiscal system as well as land ownership issues have been emphasized as the biggest shortcomings that the economy faces today.

Entrepreneurs see the recommendation for opening negotiations with the European Union as a positive step, which according to them makes Albania a safer place for investment in the eyes of EU countries and beyond.
