Extra benefits for pensioners withdrawing pensions at Credins Bank: CEO Korkuti

Albanian pensioners who choose to withdraw their pension at Credins Bank will not have any additional cost, but will also benefit other additional services.

This was the promise that Credins Bank CEO Maltin Korkuti made during the signing ceremony of the agreement with the Director of the Social Security Institute Astrit Hado.

According to this agreement, SSI hands to Credins Bank the service for payment of pensions and other benefits administered by the institution.

“With this agreement, in fact we realize a long-standing promise of SII to increase the quality of service to pensioners and to offer them all the opportunities for withdrawing their monthly pension installments in more comfortable conditions, such as banks. In fact it is a renewal of the agreement with Credins Bank, since this agreement has been signed years ago, but it is now adapted to the latest developments, both to the legislation changes and to the development of electronic systems that the two institutions have adopted in the meantime. Everything is reflected in this agreement, starting from increasing the quality of service and up to removing bureaucratic procedures of information exchange,” Hado said.

“It is not just a commercial agreement, but it is something more, namely a social responsibility – the banking system provides the pensioners qualified services, such as electronic services, electronic payments, payments through cards, but also many other secondary services, such as free medical examinations in clinics etc. All this, I think is in the spirit of developing banking and financial system in Albania, and I think that this very honored segment of the population deserves to be offered these qualitative services. They will benefit services, as I mentioned, namely medical services from the network of clinics that the bank has specific agreements with, which are free of cost or at reduced cost,” Credins Bank CEO Korkuti said.

There are currently over six thousand pensioners who withdraw their pension installments at Credins Bank.

With the signing of the agreement, their numbers is expected to increase as they will have additional advantages and benefits and other services as well.
