Facebook asks Albanian political parties to be transparent in advertising! AP: From the pandemic, the campaign has moved mostly on social networks

Facebook said Monday that political parties should be transparent about how they fund their ads on their social networking sites for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In a statement, Facebook writes that starting from Thursday, “all electoral and political advertisements in Albania must come from authorized advertisers”.

Albania holds parliamentary elections on April 25. Due to the pandemic, the election campaign will take place mostly on social networks, including Facebook.
