February figures, Instat: Albanians have flown 12% more

According to the latest Instat data, in February Albanians traveled more. The exit of Albanian citizens from the territory of Albania during February 2020 was 393,598. In February 2019, that number was 354,144, up by 12.1%.

Even for the first 2 months of 2020, growth has actually been felt, at 14.9%. According to Instat, in the period January – February 2020, the Albanians’ exit from the country was at 924,663, compared to 804,975 in January – February 2019.

On the other hand, the number of foreigners leaving Albania during February 2020 is 246.131. Compared to February 2019, this number has increased by 18.1%. In terms of January-February, there were 557,760 outflows of foreign nationals from Albania, a 24.4% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
