Fiscal amnesty forgives ALL 15 bln of arrears to SII, but not principal: Hado

The fiscal amnesty law is expected to benefit even to those who have not paid social insurances through the years.

There are about ALL 15 billion in arrears to Social Insurance Institute that the self-employed in agriculture have not paid so far.

In a media appearance, Astrit Hado, head of the Social Insurance Institute said that the law in force forgives arrears, but forces the self-employed to pay the principal.

Another important law that is expected to offer benefits is that of oilman status.

The head of the public insurances urged former oil field workers not to head to the SII offices as yet, because the draft is still at the stage of adopting legal decisions and acts for its implementation.
