Fiscal indicators show budget revenues were at ALL 8.6 bln more than in 2016

2017 seems to have started with stability for public finances, although it is an election year.

Although the previous history in election years shows that the state budget was in deficit, the opposite is happening in the first period of the year.

So revenues in the state budget by the fiscal administration for the first four months of this year are ALL 8.6 billion more than a year ago.

According to official data of the Ministry of Finance, total revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017 have been realized at the level of ALL 139.9 billion.

Revenues from “Taxes and Customs” for the fourth quarter of 2017 were realized at the value of ALL 93.3 billion, while revenues from customs duties were realized at the amount of 1.8 billion.

According to these indicators, the total public expenditure, for the first fourth months of 2017 amounted to about ALL 128.2 billion, and compared with the same period of 2016, this item resulted at about ALL 12.7 billion more.

All this fiscal period is accompanied with a budget surplus of approximately ALL 11.6 billion.
