Five Parliamentary Committees start proceedings this Monday
The newly-established Parliamentary Committees are expected to start their proceedings this Monday.
Thus the beginning of the week will be intensive with regard to the discussions that will be made in commissions for several draft laws and draft decisions.
Four of the commissions scheduled for Monday will start their proceedings at 10.00 and another will be held at 11.00.
The Committee on Economy and Finance, the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Committee on National Security, the Legal
Affairs Committee and the Media Commission will start work by constituting their membership and by adopting the working schedule.
The Economy and Finance Commission will discuss the normative act amending the 2017 Budget, which is expected to be discussed at the September 21 assembly session.
The draft law “On the ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Albania and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which complements the 1957 European Convention on Extradition”, is expected to be discussed at this session.
This draft law will be initially discussed in the Laws Commission, which is also the responsible committee, and will then be submitted to the Security and Foreign Commissions for provisioning.
