Flights to Albania from Nordic countries will start next season: FM Bushati
Next season will see the launch of direct flights from Nordic countries, said Albania’s Europe and Foreign Affairs Minister Ditmir Bushati, who has embarked on a two-day visit to Sweden.
FM Bushati started his visit to Sweden with a meeting with the Business Council to discuss the potentials offered by Albania for investment development.
Bushati also encouraged Swedish companies to consider the Albanian market.
He also met with the executives of one of the largest Swedish and Nordic companies, Apollo, which also operates in the Albanian tourist market.
This company has started tourism activity in Albania in 2014, in about 5,000 tourist networks and closed last season with over 40,000 such networks.
During his stay in Sweden, Minister Bushati is expected to meet with Swedish counterpart Margot Wallström.
Another meeting scheduled on the agenda of Minister Bushati that is with the Secretary of State at the Ministry of European Union and Trade, Oscar Stenstrom.
Bushati will also meet the Secretary of State in the Ministry of International Cooperation and Development, Ulrika Modeer, and the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Migration and Justice, Lars Westbratt.
