Foreign trade takes a big “turn” – Exports and imports report a growth of 10.5% and 5% during November
The latest figures from the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) in terms of trade in goods show that during November exports have reached the value of ALL 27 billion, an increase of 10.5% compared to November last year, and 1.7% compared to the month ancestor. Imports, meanwhile, also increased compared to a year ago, by 5%, reaching the value of ALL 56 billion. Thus, the trade deficit during November is fixed at ALL 28 billion, increasing by 0.2% compared to a year ago.
The annual growth of exports of 10.5% during November was influenced by the groups: “Machinery, equipment, spare parts” by 4.3 percentage points, “Construction materials and metals” by 3.5 percentage points, “Minerals, fuels, electricity” by 2.4 percentage points. Meanwhile, the annual decrease in exports was influenced by the groups: “Textiles and footwear” by -1.4 percentage points, “Leather and articles thereof” by -0.3 percentage points and “Chemical and plastic products” by -0.1 percentage points.
The annual growth of imports of 5.0% during November was mainly influenced by the groups: “Machinery, equipment and spare parts” by 2.8 percentage points, “Construction materials and metals” by 2.4 percentage points, “Food, beverages, tobacco” by 2 percentage points. On the opposite side are influenced the groups: “Minerals, fuels, electricity” with -2.9 percentage points, “Wood and paper products” with -0.7 percentage points and “Leather and articles thereof” with -0.6 percentage points.
