Germany grants Albania some 6 mln euro for vocational education projects
The German government has further increased its financial support for Albania, adding another fund of 6 million euro.
German Ambassador to Tirana Susanne Schütz announced this additional support in a press conference with Albanian Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi.
“For the Federal Government is important to ensure the professional development prospects, especially among the young people,” Ambassador Schütz said.
These additional funds will finance, among other things, training projects in the vocational school in Kamza and training for various applications, professional consultancy and internships in private enterprises.
In addition, the project aims to support young entrepreneurs who develop innovative business ideas.
“Now, the Government and the Parliament have ratified and approved 13 new cooperation agreements with Germany, activating a grant of 31 million euro and a loan of 37 million euro,” Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi said.
Germany has engaged in various ways jointly with the government to create better perspectives for the future of the country.
