Germany still needs Albanians – Permits for employees from the Western Balkans will be extended until 2023
Germany still needs Albanians and workers from the Western Balkans. For this reason it will also intervene in the law by extending the leave for employees. “The special permit for migrant workers from the Western Balkans is expected to be extended,” writes Deutsche Welle.
According to a draft law of the Federal Ministry of Labor, the so-called Regulation for the Western Balkans is expected to be extended until 2023. In this way the citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo have the right to go to Germany regardless of the formal qualification for employment. Each year up to 25,000 people can benefit from this law.
