Gov’t approves concession monitoring gambling industry in the next 30 years

The government has decided to approve the contract for the establishment and maintenance of the central online monitoring system for the gambling industry in Albania.

The contract approved is signed between the Ministry of Finance and the merger of the companies “Admiral Sportwetten”, “ATSIT” and “MC Networking”.

Some time ago, the Ministry of Finance announced the winning firm that will monitor the gambling industry.

The temporary merging of these companies received 904 points in the tender, leaving behind the consortium that was represented by “Qualysoft”.

This consortium will monitor betting activity and casinos for the period of thirty years.

Another decision adopted by the government was the methodology for determining the price of purchasing electricity produced by small renewable sources such as sun and wind.

The Energy Regulatory Commission will approve the price of electricity purchase in accordance with the price averaged for 2017, according to the provisions of this methodology.
