Important news for Albanians in Germany and France! What you need to do to avoid being penalized for exceeding Schengen’s 3-month period

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania informs all Albanian nationals living in Germany who exceed the permitted stay in the Schengen area and prove that due to the Covid-19 situation the movement is impossible, they will not be penalized.

The responsible authority in Germany is the Aliens Office (Ausländerbehörde) of every city in Germany. Therefore, every Albanian citizen with a 3-month stay must address these Foreign Offices.

Citizens of other countries will not be allowed to enter France for the next 30 days, except for those who hold a valid residence permit in France.

No decision will be taken to leave the French territory for citizens who exceed the permitted stay in the Schengen area and prove that due to the Covid-19 situation they are unable to move.
