Minister Cakaj announces: “Three new agreements signed with Kosovo”
The Minister in charge of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, has announced in a reaction on Facebook, that today three very important agreements have been concluded with the Republic of Kosovo in the field of foreign policy and European integration.
First, with the Minister of European Integration, Blerim Reka, the agreement was concluded to exchange experiences and expertise in matters of organization of structures responsible for integration, the process of approximation of legislation and more general political cooperation in the framework of the goal of EU membership.
Secondly, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, the agreement on strengthening public diplomacy was closed, among other things, defining a concrete list of activities for the promotion of the image and products of the two countries, as well as the unification of the calendar of cultural activities. Also, the agreement on coordinated work in the field of foreign policy has been closed, which includes the creation of a team with special representatives for the protection of interests of both countries.
Moreover, Chief Diplomat Cakaj, informed that through an official letter, he has asked the consent of Minister Konjufca to continue the project of development of Embassies and Consulates with common spaces.
