PM Rama meets US VP Pence: Washington aims to strengthen cooperation with Balkan countries
During the Adriatic Charter Summit, US Vice President Mike Pence held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The latter released a video on his Facebook page where he shakes hands with White House’s number two.
The comment with which Rama has accompanied the video is: “In Montenegro with US Vice President Mike Pence and leaders of our region for the Adriatic Charter Summit. The White House Vice-President underlined the interest of the United States to strengthen co-operation with the countries of the region, as well as the necessity to enhance the interaction between the US and the countries of the region and also among the countries of the region, while successfully facing in security, peace and prosperity challenges in the region and wider Europe.”
According to Rama, bilateral meetings with Vice President Pence as well as with other leaders of the region had their special importance for reaffirming the will to move further together, in defense of the strategic interests of our peoples.
