Political crisis, Balkans instability hurting business climate: Crawford at Civici’s Argument
The President of the American Chamber of Commerce Mark Crawford, asked about the effects of the political crisis in the last three months, has stressed that now there is an added difficulty for Albania in bringing large foreign investors.
Regarding the tense situation in the region, where, along Albania, we distinguish Macedonia and Kosovo with ambiguous realities and harsh political statements, Crawford states that it takes a single Balkan country to have significant problems and to ruin plans of most businesses.
However, despite the difficult political situation, the latest poll of the American Chamber of Commerce shows an increase in the quality of doing business in Albania for 2016 and for the beginning of 2017.
