PwC survey findings suggest Albanian CEOs highly optimistic over economic growth
The well-known international auditing, tax and financial consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Albania presented the findings of a survey with leaders of the most important Albanian companies.
Generally, businesses in Albania have high expectations regarding economic growth in the short to medium term.
The results show that while the international trend of development focuses on the sale or purchase of competitive companies, executives in Albania are more inclined to organic growth based on product improvement as well as market position improvement and cost reduction.
Business executives in Albania are of the same opinion with international ones as regards to the objective of increasing the number of workforce, regardless of technological developments or the automation of many processes.
For more than 20 years, PricewaterhouseCoopers has conducted a global survey with company executives, based on their opinions about the business climate, the achievements year-on-year and operational challenges at medium to short term.
This year, for the first time, this survey included heads of companies in Albania who shared their opinions on climate, confidence, business challenges, the economic, political and social environment, challenges for finding and retaining talent, development in a competitive environment and adaptation to an increasingly market-oriented digital technology.
