Repatriation of Albanians remaining abroad – Rama: Half of quarantine costs will be paid by the government
The Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama has announced that starting from today, Thursday, April 16, the reservations for the repatriation flights that start on Saturday from Rome will be opened.
According to the announcement, the package will be 100 euros for the flight that will be paid by the person and 21 euros per day for the 14-day accommodation in the hotel, of which 14 euros will be covered by the government for sleeping and service with ANTICOVID19 standards, while only 7 euros will be paid by the person for food.
“I believe that this package is very reasonable and I thank AIR ALBANIA and the tour operators for their understanding and contribution with an Albanian heart in this not at all easy start, for the complicated situation we are going through,” Rama wrote.
Rama suggests that the ticket price will vary according to the destinations, while the quarantine hotel payment will be fixed for all citizens.
