Revamped action against informality produces first results on the ground
The third phase of the fight against informality has started since several days, and the fiscal administration has descended on the ground to control businesses.
According to the Ministry of Finance, during the first days of this action 717 subjects were checked by the office, of which 373 subjects resulted in a change of responsibility.
During verifications on the ground so far, the groups controlled 1394 subjects.
Likewise, according to the official announcement of the Finance Ministry, taxpayer service directories have been in intensive communication with entrepreneurship, offering counseling, assistance and information.
More than 6500 taxpayers were contacted to promote self-correction, and to benefit from the law on tax amnesty and direct assistance over various issues.
According to the MoF, 674 consulting visits were conducted and 3519 taxpayers were assisted in the counters.
The action against informality has now spread throughout the country.
The Ministry of Finance announced that working groups consist of inspectors of the General Directory of Taxes, Customs and Labor Inspectorate.
Taxation organs have focused on a coordinated monitoring of large businesses based on risk platforms as well as more efficient use of inter-institutional information to better detect sectors and the most problematic businesses.
The integral pillars of the action remain information and service to taxpayers as well as audits on the ground of the entities.
The field action plan includes 78 areas across the territory, with 95 groups that have continued the verification action of unrecorded taxpayers in the NBC and tax authorities, verifying the use of fiscal equipment and issuing of tax coupons, verifying employee declaration to the tax authorities, as well as verification of the tax invoice of goods.
