Revenues from special funds increase ALL 5.9 bln more than in 2016

The action against informality launched two years ago by the Albanian government has produced positive effects on the social security scheme, although the government’s ambition was greater since this scheme continues to be funded by the state budget at a considerable value.

Representatives of the government have stated that during this year there were thousands more people declared as employed and who are paying social security contributions.

But according to the analyzes, not all of theme are new jobs.

Some are new jobs, others are jobs that have come out from the black market.

This is deduced by the large change in social security income compared with the previous year.

Referring to the official data of the Ministry of Finance, around ALL 72.6 billion was collected in the state budget only for the 10-month period, or ALL 5.9 billion more than the same period year-on-year, with the total value reaching a record ALL 66.5 billion.

According to the data, social security revenues are the ones that report the highest realization value of ALL 61.7 billion for this period, while health insurance income is realized at ALL 9.8 billion.

While these items a year ago were: social security ALL 55.8 billion; and health insurance at ALL 9.2 billion.
