Sars-Cov2 mutation in England – British planes land in Tirana, 3 more flights on December 22
As the UK became the first country to launch vaccination for COVID-19 with the Pfizer vaccine, the news that a new variant of the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in this country has raised concerns among local authorities, but not only.
Many states have begun to apply the no-fly zone policy with England, aiming to curb the penetration of the new mutation in their states. Meanwhile, Albania registers a considerable number of flights with this country, making the risk present for our country as well.
According to data from the “Mother Teresa” Airport, on Monday a Wizzair plane from London landed in Tirana in the early hours of Monday morning.
Meanwhile, for December 22, 3 more flights are scheduled, which will arrive at the airport “Mother Teresa” until noon. Currently, Albania does not apply any restrictive measures in relation to the movements of Albanian or foreign citizens.
