Sixty French entrepreneurs visit Tirana, eye investment opportunities
Sixty French entrepreneurs from the province of Lyon visited Tirana and they were received in a special meeting by Mayor Erion Veliaj.
Veliaj acquainted them with the projects, possibilities of cooperation and the facilities that Tirana offers for investment.
The President of Lyon-based France-Albania Business Club Gazmend Toska said that the visit aims to estabilsh closer economic relations between the two countries, focusing on concrete investments.
“We are here with 60 entrepreneurs to present them with Albania. Their impression is extremely positive with the reality they have seen. They were in Vlora, Berat, Tirana and we hope that such visit will be accompanied by other visits this year and next year to be able to establish as many bridges of gratitude and friendship between France and Albania,” Toska said.
While thanking the French businesspeople, Veliaj expressed his support for any idea of doing business in Tirana.
According to him, special importance will be given to cooperation between people, beyond the relations between governments and state institutions.
At the end of the meeting, French entrepreneurs planted some trees in the Skanderbeg Square park in the spirit of friendship between the two countries.
This initiative was also welcomed by France’s ambassador to our country, Christina Vasak.
