State Audit claims that 57 companies won half of public tenders in 2017
High corruption in property and legalization procedures, problems with public tendering, reappearance of arrears and the need to reduce public debt.
These are some of the main problems identified by the Supreme State Audit in their auditing of the public administration.
In the annual analysis of the work of this institution, SSA Chair Bujar Leskaj said that half of the total value of the tenders was won by only 57 companies.
Attending the annual analysis, President of the Republic Ilir Meta urged inspectors of SSA to continue their work on restoring public confidence in state institutions.
In his analysis, the head of SSA Bujar Leskaj also focused on the high cost created by the Albanian institutions because of several decisions of the Strasbourg’s European Court of Human Rights.
