The draft law “On Climate Change” paves the way for new projects -Cooperation with Sweden on environmental monitoring
After more than a year of suspension, the Parliamentary Committee on Production Activity, Trade and Environment has reviewed and approved in principle the draft law “On Climate Change”. During the discussion, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Adrian Kamenica said that his approval will pave the way for new initiatives. Kamenica added that he is co-operating with the Swedish government on projects that will help increase capacity, especially those monitoring the environment.

The draft law envisages contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, accelerating adaptation to climate change, contributing to global climate change efforts, and creating a comprehensive legal and inter-institutional framework for climate action at the national level.
