The EU extends the tax-free scheme for the import of Albanian agricultural products
The Albanian Investment Development Agency informs that Albanian exporters can export agricultural products without customs duties to the EU until 2025.
According to the announcement, the European Union has extended the tax-free scheme for the import of fruits and vegetables from the Western Balkan countries until the end of 2025.
AIDA announces that according to the previous amendment to the regulation, the tax-free regime for imports of fruits and vegetables from the Western Balkans would expire at the end of 2020 and in this context, in addition to apples, plums and sweet corn, over the next 5 years, Albanian products that can be exported without paying customs duties to the EU, among others are potatoes, mushrooms, grapes, cherries, peaches, strawberries, etc.
Preferential tariffs are customs facilities (duty free or reduced tariffs 0).
