The Foreign Ministry announcement: “These states will not impose penalties if the Schengen deadline is violated”

The Foreign Ministry has informed all Albanian citizens about the expiration of their stay in the Schengen area and that they cannot return to our country because of Covid 19. According to the ministry, Germany and France will not impose penalties on these citizens, unable to move due to coronavirus.

‘All Albanian nationals in Germany who exceed the permitted stay in the Schengen area and testify that due to the Covid-19 situation the movement is impossible, will not be penalized.

Also, French authorities have informed that nationals of other countries will not be allowed to enter France for the next 30 days, except for those who have a valid residence permit in France.
