The German government declares 20 countries as areas at high risk of infections – Albania is among them
Due to Corona’s high figures, EU countries want to make travel less attractive. On Thursday, the heads of government and EU states agreed that due to the new dangerous variant of the virus, as much travel as possible should be avoided, but the borders should remain open for goods and people who have to travel across borders due to the country of work.
Germany comes out on top and already tightens travel rules from Sunday. More than 20 countries are declared areas with high risk of infection, where strict rules apply. According to the Robert Koch Institute on Friday, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and the Czech Republic are from here within the European Union. Courses from outside the EU include the USA, Egypt, Israel, and others, but also Balkan countries such as Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia.
