The task force for the gradual opening is being set up, Manastirliu: “There will be 4 phases, in May the movement will be released”
Today, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, presented the plan of measures for the gradual opening of the economy and the mandatory protocols to be implemented.
It is learned that an inter-institutional task force has been set up today. In the statement for the media, Manastiliu has indicated that there are 100 active hotspots in Albania with COVID-19.
“It turns out that we have over 100 active hotspots throughout Albania. The number of hospitalizations is stable. Based on this dynamic assessment, the Technical Committee of Experts has drafted a plan to facilitate the measures. This plan is based on several criteria such as; epidemiological criteria and hospital criteria. The plan sets out to open up activities with more impact on the economy and less risk. Each opening will have strike protocols. The facilitation will have four phases, according to the guidelines drafted by the WHO. To monitor the measures, the Task Force is being set up to monitor the situation on the ground. Every business must strictly implement the measures. “Every business needs to get certified in e-albania and display it in the workplace and get employees familiar with these rules,” she said.
Noting that the measures will change in a space of two weeks, Manastirliu said that from the beginning of May, the band of car movement within a municipality can be expanded.
